Mercedes currently resides in Ventura, CA, and takes the coastal drive up to Santa Barbara where she works in event sales and management at a luxury hotel. She has a BA in Psychology from UCLA, and served the University Lutheran Chapel at UCLA for 8 years in various capacities. She enjoys reading, writing, and baking in her spare time, has a deep love of travel and history, and thoroughly believes that the most enlightening and fruitful conversations and relationships develop when gathered around food and drink.
