Dennis was born in Detroit, which means his first language is sarcasm. After 20 years of theology-hopping, he fell in love with the Book of Concord while attending Concordia, Ann Arbor. After that, and an above-average amount of time at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, a bunch of other letters were added to his title. When his way-too-beautiful-for-him wife and four kids are otherwise occupied, he is currently trying to add yet more letters to his pugilistic academic career. He currently administers the means of grace in Bay City, MI, and his area of expertise is the intersection of Christ and culture, especially as it pertains to the art of homiletics.
