I figured I’d wait until Reformation Day to hear this knowing that it would be good, but it wasn’t good. It was F$&@ing AWESOME! Seriously! Geez man! I got chills three times! And yes, I love the church militant hymns with vigor and almost march in place when I’m singing.

Thanks for posting an excellent sermon. It reminds me of CS Lewis’s discussion from Mere Christianity, “The Perfect Penitent”. The only way to be saved from being destroyed by the Law of God is by Someone perfect being destroyed on our behalf and doing it to our credit. Truly, Love satisfies the Law –i.e., the Will of God–for us.
