What if it was really true that Jesus reigns?

What if it was really true that Jesus died for all – including and especially people you would never imagine could be forgiven, especially you?

What if it was really true that the pandemic, the racial tension, the political turmoil, and the cultural chaos was actually known by God all along and He is still ruling through it and will draw people to His Son through it?

What if it was really true that God was not surprised by anything but in fact can use and overcome the worst evil?

What if it was true that God actually knew you and your situation and loves you?

What if it was true that the Lord is coming again and we will live in a city where there really is peace and love for God and one another?

What if it was really true that you will one day have no stupid desires, inclinations, fears or anger?

What if it was really true that the lady who barely clings to Jesus, who bugs the heck out of you, will be there too?

What if it was really true that everyone was made in God’s image and everyone has been redeemed by the blood of Christ?

What if it was true that everything will be ok?

What if it was true that the Word of God actually does something?

What if it was true that the simple ingredients of baptizing and teaching actually make a disciple?

What if it was true that the bread and wine actually are the body and blood of Christ and literally connect a person to God, give forgiveness and eternal life!?

What if God actually loved you? What if God was actually for you?

Would everything be ok then? Could you get along with people a little better then? Could you not freak-out at the headlines then? Could you stop acting so shocked then? Could you not be so afraid then?
